In 2011 INTRA supplied eight electrically driven gas pressure regulators RMG 530 with automatic control systems SCS 2500 manufactured by RMG Regel+Messtechnik GmbH for AGDS.
“Adler” is one of the six automatic gas distribution stations (AGDS) within gas pipeline “Dzhugba — Lazarevskoe — Sochi”.
The main function of the gas pipeline is to provide Sochi and the resort area of the Black Sea shore with fuel. During 2014 Winter Olympic Games this gas, as well as electricity and heat produced from it will ensure the operation of sports facilities, transport and tourism infrastructure.
Gas pipeline “Dzhugba — Lazarevskoe — Sochi” has been laid on the ground and on the sea bottom, the sea part is about 90% of its length: owing to this, the important forest areas ashore have been preserved from felling and the natural reserves remained untouched. The gas pipeline contributes to improving the environment in the region, replacing environmentally unfriendly coal and heating oil with a clearer gas and thus cutting down heat emissions into the atmosphere.
AGDS “Adler” is an intermediate link in gas supplies to the consumer: at the station the gas is purified, and its pressure is reduced and automatically maintained at the level set, the volumes of fuel supplied to the customers are recorded. The largest consumer of gas coming to Sochi via AGDS “Adler”,will be TPP “Adlerskaya”.
After the station is put into operation, it will be operated by two persons working 24-hours in shifts.
The company "RMG RUS", together with "the RMG Messtechnik", participated in the 16th International “NEFTEGAZ 2017” exhibition.
